About the opportunity

Since launching our financial coaching program, we’ve been growing rapidly (we’re managing dozens of clients within a few weeks). We’re helping our clients buy new homes, handle new child expenses, move to new cities, negotiate new jobs, and more. The demand has been extraordinary, and we’re hiring a team of coaches to scale our program and help people manage their finances.

Our team is based in NYC, currently on-site.

What you'll do

• Work one-on-one with clients (individuals and couples) to set SMART financial goals and create strategies to achieve those goals.

• Assess clients financial situations, work through challenges, and identify opportunities for growth.

• Help clients develop systems for managing cash flow, paying down debt, and achieving their goals through good money habits.

• Identify areas for learning and development and provide appropriate resources.

• Keep all coaching clients engaged throughout and moving toward their goals.

• Onboard new members to the app and coaching program.

• Work with Head of Curriculum to create educational modules.

Your qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in financial coaching, advising, or planning, working directly with clients.

• Ideally one or more of the following credentials or willingness to obtain: CMC, CFP, AFC, CPA, ChFC, CFA, CPF Coach

• Excellent ability to simply communicate complex financial topics.

• The ability to connect with clients on a genuine level and express understanding, compassion, and never judgement.

• Competently assess clients’ current financial situations and ability to calculate relevant financial health markers.

• The highest levels of integrity and ethics. You understand the importance of confidentiality and privacy.
